These Terms of Use set out the rights, obligations and limitations of liability when accessing or using rihs.org.vn and related services operated by the Research Institute for Health Science (RIHS). Please read carefully before using the site.

Research publications, policy briefs and analytical articles produced by the Institute are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC 4.0): you may share, distribute and adapt the work provided that you cite "RIHS" as the source and do not use it for commercial purposes.
The RIHS logo and brand names "RIHS" and "Research Institute for Health Science" are proprietary intellectual property — NOT covered by the Creative Commons licence. Any use requires prior written consent from the Institute's leadership.
Website content is provided for reference, policy research and the dissemination of scientific knowledge. It is NOT individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Readers should consult a qualified doctor, pharmacist or other health professional before acting on any information related to personal health.
The Institute is not liable for any harm arising from self-application of website content without appropriate professional guidance.
Unauthorised automated copying (scraping, crawling), using bots or automated tools to access the website beyond the limits set in the robots.txt file.

To the maximum extent permitted by Vietnamese law, RIHS is not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages arising from the use of or inability to use the website.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, including but not limited to: the 2015 Civil Code, the 2018 Law on Cybersecurity (No. 24/2018/QH14), Decree 13/2023/NĐ-CP on personal data protection, the Law on Intellectual Property and related implementing regulations.
Any dispute shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation and mediation between the parties within 30 days.
If no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be referred to the competent People's Court in Vietnam for resolution in accordance with prevailing law.

RIHS may update, supplement or amend these terms when necessary. New versions will be published on the website and apply from the effective date stated at the top of the document.
Continued use of the website after the terms are updated constitutes acceptance of the changes.
